Recording CDs
There is a Smart and Friendly Deluxe 426 Internal CD-RW drive located
on Mason for burning your own CDs. This can be done for local files as
well as files from another networked machine.
Some things to know before you start:
-
Use only 4x rated CD-R Media
-
If the media is not rated at least at this speed, there may be errors
in recording your disc.
-
CD-R media can only be written in one session.
-
If you don't fill up the disc you can not go back another time and
continue writing to it.
-
CD-RW media can only be read by CD-RW drives and some DVD
drives.
-
If you wish to make a disc that can be read on any standard CD-ROM
drive, use only CD-R media.
-
Do not violate any copyright laws when making CDs
-
The CSB Core does not assume any responsibility for any copyright
infringement occurred by the user.
