Color Photcopying in the CSB Core

Color photocopying is available in the core using the any of the scanners and a color printer. The easiest way to make a color photocopy is to use GLAZIER but any machine with a scanner can act as a photocopier.

Presently (12/01), the choice of color printers include Rainbow PCL (Okidata color laser printer), Epson Stylus Photo 870 (inkjet), and HP2500C (inkjet).

Color Copies from GLAZIER:

1. Place the document that you wish to scan on the scanning bed.
2. Press the "Start" icon on the screen and go to "Programs -> Utility Programs -> Scanner Photocopier"
3. Under Printer setup, choose the appropriate color printer.
4. UnderOutput choose either "Text w/pictures" or "Single Photo" depending on the original and check the "Copy in color" box.
5. Select the scale and number of copies
6. Press "Copy" to begin.

Color Copies from all other machines:

If GLAZIER is not available, you can use either the Mac or MASON as a color photocopier. To do this, just scan the document as you would using Photoshop, Acrobat, or Canvas and select Print. When the printer options window pops up, select the number of copies that you wish to make and press "ok". Scaling can be done directly within the TWAIN driver panel.
