dtdisplay on-line help
Reflection view properties
Choose Refln view props... in the Edit
menu to display a dialog box with
the current reflection view properties. The view properties include Symbol,
Size, and Color. In most cases the values set in this dialog do not
take effect until either the OK or Apply button is selected. Also,
if no image is currently displayed, then settings made in this
dialog box have no effect. Selecting Help activates the HTML
viewer for on-line help.
Reflection symbols are plotted centered on the observed pixel position if
available or on the calculated pixel position. If both observed and
calculated positions are available, then the symbol is centered on the
observed pixel position and a vector is drawn to the calculated pixel
position.
Rejected reflections
Reflections which are flagged as in a
bad nonuniformity region or as overlapped are drawn in RED regardless of
the selected color. They are also drawn with a triangle shape superimposed
upon the selected symbol.
- Symbol
- Select the symbol used to draw reflections with.
+ sign
- All reflections are drawn with a plus sign.
- x
- All reflections are drawn with an x sign.
- o
- All reflections are drawn with a circle or ellipse.
- []
- All reflections are drawn with a square or rectangle.
- o and []
- If rocking curve information (rotation angle start and end
for each reflection) is available in the reflection list, then reflections
with rocking curves that intersect the displayed image are drawn as circles,
and reflections with rocking curves that do not intersect the displayed
images are drawn as squares. During a dtintegrate run, one should see
spots in circles and background in squares. In effect, squares indicate
the padding in a shoebox. If one sees spots in squares, then the crystal
mosaicity may be set too low. If one does not see spots in some circles,
then the crystal mosaicity may be set too high.
If rocking curve information is not available,
then all reflections are drawn as circles.
- o and no []
- If rocking curve information (rotation angle start and end
for each reflection) is available in the reflection list, then reflections
with rocking curves that intersect the displayed image are drawn as circles,
and reflections with rocking curves that DO NOT intersect are NOT displayed.
One may not see reflections used in refinement in this mode because they
may not intersect the currently displayed image.
- Size
- Enter the size of the symbol in pixels. If you enter 1 number, then the second dimension is set equal to the first.
- Color
- Set the color of the symbol. Reflections which are flagged as in a
bad nonuniformity region or as overlapped are drawn in RED regardless of
the selected color.
Deleting spots:
Click on a spot, then use the -, delete, or backspace key to delete the spot.
Adding spots:
Click on a spot, if integrated successully, then use the + or Insert key to add the spot.
