If you are on a 64-bit SGI (e.g., Octane) machine you may want to use special executables that are available:

• AVE
• COMAP
• COMDEM
• DATAMAN
• IMP
• MAMA
• MAPMAN
• MAVE

Simply use the capitalized name for the 64-bit version, and the lowercase name for the 32-bit version.
