The output can have different coordinate representations. To retain the proper orientation of a two dimensional slice in a three dimensional volume, or a one dimensional slice (a line) in a two dimensional area, curvilinear coordinates are output by default. The number of coordinate variables in the output is the same as the dimensionality of the sliced lattice - that is, they can be displayed in the same space.
Alternatively, if desired, the output may have the same coordinates as the input lattice. When in this mode, the number of coordinate variables in the output is one less than the dimensionality of the sliced lattice. The type of coordinates (input, perimeter, curvilinear) of the output lattice is the same as the type of the coordinates of the input lattice.
Port: Input
Type: Lattice
Constraints: 2..3-D
This is the input lattice. It can be two or three dimensional.
Port: Axis
Type: Option Menu
Menu Item: I Axis
Menu Item: J Axis
Menu Item: K Axis
This parameter selects which index is held constant. The third option
(K Axis) does not appear if the input lattice is two-dimensional.
Port: Slice Number
Type: Slider
This selects the constant value of the appropriate index.
Port: Coord Type
Type: Radio Box
Menu Item: Curvilinear Coords
Menu Item: Same Coords as Input
This selects the type of output coordinates - curvilinear (when the number
of coordinate dimensions is the same as the dimensionality of the input
lattice) or the same coordinates as the input lattice (when the number of
coordinate dimensions is one less than the dimensionality of the output
lattice).
Port: Slice
Type: Lattice
Constraints: 1..2-D
This is the extracted lattice.
