For system administrators

  Installation of spock is simple, running Install.sh as root should do it. This copies:

• The spock executables into /usr/local/bin
• The spock system directory to /usr/local/lib/spock.

  The location of these files is customizable, but the spock executable should be in the default path. The environment variable $SPOCK should be set as the path to the spock system directory (spock/system of the distribution tar file). The install script asks if you wish to append the command to do this to the system cshrc and profile files.

Administrators may also wish to look at $SPOCK/bin/README. This file describes some of the spock utility programs that may have to be customized to suit local needs.
