APCON SCSI SWITCH

This device allows the Polaroid ProPalette Slidemaker and the HP Scanner to be shared between GLAZIER and MUTZU in the core. This allows the MAC and PC to be used for making slides and scanning documents.

The switch is fairly straight forward to use... just deselect the computer you are not using and select the one you are on the front panel of the switch.

General Concerns for using the switch:

NEVER select both computers on the switch at once... ALWAYS deselect one computer before selecting the other one.

This will cause the computers to both crash immediately

If the computer doesn't see the perpheral you wish to use do the following:

select both perpherals on the SCSI switch for the computer you wish to use
reboot the computer
